The Jannus Block has added yet another destination for food and drinks. T’s and Tacos at Jannus Live opened at the end of August replacing Cap’s Steamer Bar.

The walk-up taqueria and bar is in between Welcome to the Farm and Joey Brooklyn’s pizza, featuring bar seating and sidewalk tables. The food menu showcases staples of Tex-Mex, while the full bar serves up beer, wine and margaritas!

T’s and Tacos is open Wednesday-Sunday from 3 pm and is open late each night. The soft opening menu offers a variety of tacos (including beef, chicken, shrimp, and ahi tuna), as well as quesadillas, nachos, and burritos. A full grand opening and expanded menu is slated for this month.

Elsewhere down the block, Moon Mountain is set to open soon at 204 1st Avenue North in the former location of Hoots. Moon Mountain is a coffee, tea and kava bar offering an “alternative culture” option.
