Downtown St Pete only a few blocks away offers great diversity of cultural, outdoor attractions, shops, and many restaurants.  Bike rentals and public transportation are very accessible.  The world-renowned Dali Museum displaying some of Salvador Dali's most impressive art is nearby.  October through May you can stroll downtown to the Saturday morning market (among the top 20 markets in the country) only steps from the waterfront and enjoy live music, fresh produce, great food, and crafts.  Catch a Tampa Bay Rays game at Tropicana Field or take in a show or concert at the Mahaffey Theater.  A Foodie's dream is at the Locale Market where you can find world-class cuisine to fit anyone's palate.  Prepared food to eat in or cook it your favorite way.  Very close by is the serene Sunken Gardens with luscious tropical gardens and cascading waterfalls. Easy access to I-275, USF St Pete, Eckerd College, and beaches.  Ft DeSoto Park has 7 miles of waterfront, beaches, 2 fishing piers, trails for biking and rollerblading, and rentals for canoes and kayaks.  There is a 2-mile paddle trail to explore the coastline.  Dogs are welcomed at the extensive leash-free dog beach.

Hop on the Looper Trolley downtown St Pete and visit the quaint Pass-A-Grille with beautiful white sand beach or stop in St Pete Beach and enjoy scrumptious fresh seafood such as grouper, stone crabs, snapper, oysters, or clams.
